The town of Arlington is situated northwest of Boston and was settled back in 1635. Originally, Arlington had been a farming community and was known for growing lettuce. In addition, it was also known for playing a role in the ice industry with an ice house on Spy Pond up until the 1930’s.
Today, Arlington is one of the more sought after towns that is located just outside of Boston. Many schools both public and private make for great options for growing families.
